1. Mirador de San Nicolas (the iconic one)

The postcard view. The Alhambra centered, Sierra Nevada behind, Albayzin rooftops in the foreground. Crowded at sunset, with buskers and travelers packed shoulder to shoulder. Arrive 45 minutes before sunset to claim a front-row spot. Walk up 20 minutes from Plaza Nueva through Calderia Nueva and up San Gregorio.

2. Mirador de San Miguel Alto (the quieter wider view)

10 minutes higher up the hill than San Nicolas. Wider panorama, includes Sacromonte to the right, Granada city to the left. Locals come here when San Nicolas is too busy. Benches, less noise, same Alhambra view at a slightly different angle. Worth the extra climb.

3. Carmen de Aben Humeya (the wine option)

A traditional carmen (walled garden house) turned restaurant with the best private sunset view of the Alhambra. Book a table for 18:00, order a bottle of Rioja and tapas, watch the sun set while you sip. 35-50 EUR per person with drinks. Elegant, romantic, and the only mirador with seated table service.

4. Mirador de la Lona (the local favorite)

Small, quiet, almost no tourists. A 10 minute walk from San Nicolas through narrow Albayzin alleys. Same Alhambra view but from a completely different angle, framed by white houses. Feels like a local secret. Get there 30 minutes before sunset, no buskers, no crowds.

5. Placeta de Carvajales (the hidden mini-terrace)

A tiny square most tourists walk past. On the way up from Plaza Larga to San Nicolas. Partial Alhambra view, charming local bar underneath, almost never more than 5-10 people at sunset. Good for a beer and a pre-sunset pause before continuing up.
